These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Helmsman Markets Ltd. ("Helmsman", "we", "us"), governing your access to and use of our websites, applications and services (together, the "Service"). Please read them together with our Risk Disclosure and Privacy Policy.
By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and the documents referenced in them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
To use the Service you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) and legally able to enter into a contract. You must not use the Service if doing so is prohibited by the laws or regulations that apply to you, or if you are located in a jurisdiction where we do not offer it. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful where you are.
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. The Service is offered on subscription tiers (currently Helm Crew, Helm Officer and Helm Captain). Current prices and what each tier includes are shown on our pricing page. We may change pricing prospectively; changes will not affect a billing period you have already paid for.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment processor to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.
Helmsman provides research-based trade ideas, confidence scoring, a position-sizing framework, a performance simulator and related tools and content. We aim for accuracy and uptime but do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any signal, figure or feature will be available at a given time. We may add, change or remove features.
Helmsman is not a broker, exchange, custodian, wallet or money-transmission service. We never receive, hold or move your funds. You execute all trades yourself, on your own accounts with third-party providers.
All content provided through the Service is general information and education only. It is not personalised investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and does not account for your individual circumstances. We are not your broker, adviser or fiduciary. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions. Trading carries a substantial risk of loss — see the Risk Disclosure, which forms part of these Terms.

The Service, including all signals, research, text, software, design, branding and the Helmsman name and logo, is owned by Helmsman or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own individual trading while your subscription is active. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Trades are executed through third-party brokers and exchanges, and the Service may rely on third-party data, payment and infrastructure providers. We do not control those parties and are not responsible for their acts, omissions, terms, fees, availability or accuracy. Your relationship with any such provider is solely between you and them.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law — including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Helmsman and its officers, employees and partners will not be liable for any trading losses, or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the [12] months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Helmsman from claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable and lawful we will give notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits and indemnification — will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by email or an in-app notice, before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
